What Is Belief Coding? Rewiring Beliefs You Formed Before Age 7

Belief Coding Cognitive Rewiring® (BCCR®) is a method that works with your subconscious mind to find and transform the limiting beliefs behind self-doubt, anxiety, self-sabotage, and patterns that feel impossible to break. I'm an Accredited Master Facilitator of Belief Coding, and I offer sessions in person in The Woodlands and on Zoom.
By the ripe old age of seven, most of us have already formed the core beliefs that will shape the rest of our lives. Beliefs like "I'm not enough," "I have to earn love," or "money is always tight" get stored deep below conscious thought. They keep running quietly in the background long after we've outgrown them.
Where do limiting beliefs come from?
As children, we learn about ourselves and the world from the people and experiences around us. A parent who was always stressed about money, a teacher who made us feel slow, a family where feelings weren't safe to share. A young child doesn't have the tools to question those messages, so they become "truths."
Years later, you might know in your head that you're capable, lovable, and worthy. But if the belief underneath says otherwise, it can quietly steer your choices, your relationships, and even how your body responds to stress.
How does Belief Coding work?
A Belief Coding session follows four steps:
Identify the belief. Through guided questions, we find the specific limiting belief that's driving the pattern you want to change.
Find the root. We access the subconscious to discover the early experience where that belief first took hold.
Rewire it. The limiting belief is replaced with a healthier, more supportive one.
Integrate. Your brain begins forming new pathways through neuroplasticity, its natural ability to change and rewire.
Belief Coding draws from positive psychology, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), EFT (tapping), meditation, Matrix Reimprinting, Emotion Code, kinesiology, and energy healing. It brings all of those tools together in one session.
What does a session feel like?
Sessions are done seated with your eyes closed, and you may be asked to stand briefly when possible. Sessions are scheduled for up to two hours, which gives us time to go deep without rushing.
You don't have to relive painful experiences. The process is designed to be safe and gentle. You observe and release what comes up rather than reliving it.
Is there science behind changing old beliefs?
The idea that the brain can change is well established. Neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to form new connections throughout life, is one of the most important discoveries in modern neuroscience.
Researchers have also studied a process called memory reconsolidation. When an old emotional memory is brought up and then paired with a new experience, the brain can update how that memory is stored. A 2015 paper in Behavioral and Brain Sciences proposed that this process helps explain how lasting emotional change happens in many kinds of therapy (Lane et al., 2015). Belief Coding works in that same spirit: revisit the root, then give the brain a new message.
Belief Coding itself hasn't been studied in large clinical trials, and I want you to know that up front.
What can Belief Coding help with?
People come to me for Belief Coding for support with:

Anxiety, panic, and stress
Self-sabotage and procrastination
Money and financial blocks
Fears, phobias, and public speaking anxiety

Addiction

Is Belief Coding the same as therapy?
No. Belief Coding works directly with the subconscious mind and energy body rather than through traditional talk therapy. It can be a wonderful complement to counseling, but it isn't a replacement for mental health treatment. If you're working with a therapist, please keep doing so.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people feel a real shift in one to three sessions. Beliefs that run deep, or that are layered on top of each other, may take more. We'll talk about what's realistic for you during your consultation.
How is Belief Coding different from Emotion Code?
Both work below the surface, but in different ways. Emotion Code finds and releases trapped emotions stored in the body. Belief Coding finds and rewires the beliefs that drive your thoughts and choices. The two can work beautifully together. You can read more in What Is Emotion Code?
How much does Belief Coding cost?
As of October 2026, a Belief Coding session is $333, in person or on Zoom, scheduled for up to two hours. Cash payments get 5% off.
